Youthful Hands can teach anyone to draw that has an intrest in art. Our approach to drawing is based on the fact that any form can be broken down into simple shapes. Different pencil and shading techniques help give the art a photo-realistic appearance.

The student explores drawing mediums such as graphite, pen and ink, color pencils, charcoal, pastels, and watercolors. Through a step-by-step method, students, ages 9-18, are taught basic drawing skills, which result in artwork that is realistic and attractive. Students are taught on an individualized basis according to their persona! abilities and skills, moving ahead at their own pace. Smaller classes also give the students more one on one instruction. Ultimately students of all ages develop the ability to draw any subject realistically. Students learn to create still life, landscapes, portraiture, animals, and more. Besides learning technical and artistic skills, students gain patience, focus, pride and confidence in their work. They come to see it is completely possible to set and realize their artistic goals.
